Head Toward the Flowers

"Hummingbird invites us to bypass the dung pile of old pain and hurts, head for the flowers, and trust what is calling." - Colette Baron Reid

Dear Rose Woman community,

There are many approaches to healing past woulds and living a full, happy, meaningful, engaged life. Sometimes we need to clear old traumas and stories that are lodged in our minds and bodies. This helps us eliminate the reality distortion field of prior experience and see things as they are now, not through the lens of our bias.

The other very potent way is to follow your bliss, your joy, your desire... like the hummingbird heading for the nectar, we make a beeline toward what is attractive, what is nourishing, what is good for us, to what drops sweet honey into the heart.

Everyone has their own blossom that pulls them: I head to the flowers when I gather in good company, move in natural surroundings, make beautiful and healing products and medicines, when teaching, singing, learning, connecting people, spreading good news... and in the satisfaction of getting things done and living in integrity of word and action.

What about you?  What do you aim yourself towards when you head for the flowers?

XO,

CMM
