“If enlightenment does not take place in the body, it does not take place at all.” — Yeshe Tsogyal, 8th-century Tibetan Buddhist master, consort of Padmasambhava, and one of the most venerated figures in Vajrayana Buddhism.
Much of spirituality—East and West—rightly focuses on “up and out” practices, awakening the higher chakras to deepen compassion, spiritual insight, and wisdom. These are called “generation stage” practices in Tibetan Buddhism. As spiritual development advances, it becomes important to also include practices that are “down and in,” to awaken all the subtle energy centers in the human body, which then becomes a living microcosm of the larger cosmos. This retreat focuses on natural embodied practices, drawn from eastern and western traditions, that awaken the spiritual energy and vitality of the entire human body— which leads to experiencing daily life as living in a “body of joy.” Drawing on dance, breathwork, art, yoga, movement, and diverse spiritual disciplines, join us as we reclaim our natural human birthright.

She studied thangka painting at the Norbulingka Institute in India, visual arts in Brazil, and sacred geometry in London. Her work cultivates long-term embodied practices, including annual training with her teachers Yumma Mudra and Michel Raji in Portugal, exploring the body as a vehicle for awareness and transformation. Tiffani has led art retreats and pilgrimage journeys across Asia since 2012, combining classical discipline with experiential and contemplative approaches. She founded the online School of Traditional Mandalas of the World, which has welcomed thousands of students. Her teachings and published writings synthesize inner transformation, feminine power, and cross-cultural spirituality, while remaining rooted in traditional lineages.
