LIVE AT THE SOUL OF YOGA: BHAKTI TANTRA MAHA PRACTICE AND SATSANG

  • Encinitas, CA United States (map)

Join Christine for a full gulp of yoga joy. This afternoon workshop is a full (or “maha”) practice. It includes breathwork, fluid and steady postures, mantra, chant and guided meditation. We will go deeper into some of the poses and practices, and imbue familiar poses with devotional mood. We will have some conversations on the principles of bhakti: giving and receiving in our lives, the immanent light, living from oneness, and the ongoing dance between agency and surrender – and how these relate to classical tantra. Welcome to the yoga of devotion. All levels encouraged.

Christine is a 20+ year veteran teacher, cofounder of Sundari (a yoga retreat on Hawai’i), author of 8 books, including Reverence (Ritual in Modern Life), The Nine Gifts (A First Aid Kit for Mind, Body and Spirit) and Twisted (Yoga in America Since 1965). She is the host of The Rose Woman podcast on Love and Liberation (a top 5% podcast worldwide). She sings devotional chant all over the world, and brings her love and joy wherever it is called.

Workshop Price: $45
