You are lusciously invited to The MWALI Temple of Love in Austin as we host our very first Soul Salon to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
Hosted by ceremonial songstress Jess Magic, with featured preacher Christine Marie Mason, and a delicious cast of Guest Heartists, including Brent & Anthony Weiss of CloudPeople, Tim Chang, and more on the way!
Be ready for a mix of improvisational music, poetry, dharma talks, story-telling, a spot of dancing, breath, cuddles and very special brew of the Amazonian master plant, Bobinsana & cacao shared among a group of beautiful beings.
This is an invitation, to not just “stop by”, but to show up with our hearts ablaze as we enter the darkest day of the year.

What to Expect
The Soul Salon is a collaborative genre of musical dialogue and improvisational alchemy… where the audience becomes a part of the creative process, and where no one, including the hosts, knows exactly what is going to unfold.
Each Soul Salon provides an intimate space for community, curated conversation and the cross-pollination of ideas, offerings and flavors. We provide an invitation to harmonize your unique and beautiful Self with some of the city’s brightest leaders, change-makers, and creative spirits.
Encouraged, but not required: we invite you to wear white, ivory, black and or/ gold clothing for in honor of entering into the darkest night of the year.
Come with an open mind and be ready to relax, play, and to feel the full spectrum of your aliveness. These experiences invite us to be present, and to receive, sing, and share from the heart.
*NOTE: Children are welcome and we ask that parents support the energetic arc by attuning to whether your little one is able to join the moments of meditation and stillness.
