Beyond Polarities and Tribe.
Opposites are the same frequency. An invitation to Unity consciousness. The Mission Within.
Hello all,
At the United lounge this morning, I sat next to a man scowling at his social media. He was being fed stories about universities shutting down for the day to help people process election feelings (which he snorted at), while I was being fed stories of abusive hate demonstrations on Texas campuses. We exchanged phones and looked at each others feeds- both of us in disbelief and horror at how we were being played. I see a new movement: “show me your feed”. This will help a great deal in not demonizing people. I’m seeing a deeper invitation to build something fundamentally rooted in connection, with neither the energy of opposition or polarization against the world’s troubles, nor any sense of victory over others or defeat. Can you imagine this?
For those who have experienced the timeless space or the unity field, you know that from that place we can witness the dynamics and forces at play without being pulled by them. From this vantage point, we see with utter clarity that there is no “solution” available within the current frame of divisions, or in the energy of resistance. If we are to initiate a new way of collaboration, one that is both rooted in non-harm and taps our collective vast creative genius, we have to come from a different frequency wherein oneness is not an abstract philosophical idea, but a felt reality.
While I see this, I also notice a subtle pull to join in the stories of fear blame suffering and struggle- to detach entirely from these stories could feel like spiritual bypassing, or it might feel callous to others. I notice an almost tribal resonance, suggesting that if I don’t agree, empathize, or join in, I will lose my connection or belonging. There’s a lingering belief that by choosing not to participate in the suffering story, I am somehow disloyal.
I also notice that phrases like “we’ll get there together” or “just stay in love” can sound hollow, even when well-intended. They lack the teeth of true understanding, the grounded commitment, and don’t fully reflect the potent clarity and insight of that timeless unified space, or the grounded power of living beyond polarization. How can we communicate the potency of the invitation to actively embody a love that honors suffering without being ensnared by it—a love that remains grounded in a frequency of unity, beyond the binds of tribal allegiance or belonging? This kind of love holds space for all aspects of our experience without letting one overwhelm the others. We get suffering and joy, dissonance and unity. We hold the complexity. And suddenly we see that polarities, seeming opposites, are actually the same frequency. Polarities co-create the other.
It also feels necessary to recognize how politics taps a kind of inertia of the dependent human consciousness: the pull to look outside of ourselves to fix what feels wrong within our society. There’s an almost childlike hope that someone else will come along to solve our troubles for us, a sense of placing our dreams in the hands of others. This belief that our reality is just “the way things are” keeps us stuck, as if the world isn’t constantly being shaped by our own consciousness, by our own choices: we are each creating our own experiential reality, and we each have the power to elect ourselves as creators of the world we want to live in. I mean how much energy do you really put into creating our civil governance, aren’t most just so busy with their private lives? We give the world away through inattention.
In this moment, there’s more energy than ever to galvanize a parallel awakening system than if the “more progressive” option had taken power and left us waiting for incremental change. Too often that progressive pathway leads to a kind of business-as-usual—improvements, yes, but not necessarily the radical transformation many of us envision. The door to complacency is, perhaps mercifully, closed, and this moment becomes a powerful opportunity to tap into our own agency. Ironically, it may be that the unlikely political climate we’re in is the perfect energetic foundation to further catalyze its creation, even though it’s something many of us have been up to for a while.
We need to beyond even the progressive ideals of today, which I have noticed still carry polarization, specifically of moral superiority, of the belief that “we are right, and they are wrong.” For those on the left, it’s a call to let go of a specific kind of righteousness or subtle smugness, and the quick judgment that comes with cancel culture and ideological rigidity.
True enlightenment doesn’t divide; it invites. It will be a radical awakening when we create from this new place, where the modus operandi isn’t to “fix” or fight against; it’s to connect deeply, help each other, and release polarization altogether.
A friend of mine calls this emerging grid the “infrastructure of spirit”, grounded yet luminous, crossing all borders—be they cultural, linguistic, national, or economic.
The path forward is one of non-opposition, of tapping into a vibrational coherence beyond all that divides, one committed to a unity that doesn’t need to define itself by what it stands against. It invites us to stand in our own power, aligned with a universal field of love, releasing the idea of “us versus them,” and instead moving with the potency of a unified frequency.
Of course there is a part of me that clings to the roles of the “good” and the “bad,” that wants to oppose rather than include. When I am caught in judgment, disbelief, and anger toward those who don’t share my views, I lose the unity I claim to seek. In that state, I cannot fully hold a space for true, coherent transformation. I am paying deep attention to where the ingrained habits of make wrong are still alive in me.
There is a certain kind of power that doesn’t need political sovereignty or the tribal agreements of society to take effect.
We are, each and together, the architect of our experiences, that we each hold the capacity to birth the world we dream of, together in unity. The higher the frequency of intention, the fewer people it takes to catalyze this new world into being. This is a moment to align with the infinite, to stand in a field that allows reality itself to be reordered. This is the promise and the call, and now is the time. From the one, for the all.
Love,
