Sense of Teleportation

Wrong turns, road work, bad planning got me to midtown at 2 am, long drive from Boston. There's a school outside my window, delight filled children's playground sounds wafting up.Sometimes I feel like a time space traveler- the car or plane a self contained but slow moving teleportation device. Just climb in and go, you end up elsewhere. You're still you, just with a completely different physical reality swirling around. It's all real, and unreal at the same time.Sometimes our psyches take some time to catch up when our bodies have moved faster than our human legs alone will ever have allowed. To integrate back into the moment. What happens next? Who will we meet today?
